Weekly Review
Every student had an opportunity to share a souvenir from their summer with the class and we continued getting to know each other through games and team building activities. This week, students will have another chance to share with the class when they complete their map assignment.
I am reading The Talented Clementine by Sara Pennypacker aloud to the class. It is a funny story about a third grade talent show. Students are also independently reading fiction and nonfiction books from the classroom library. In writing workshop, students wrote “Who Am I?” riddles about themselves. Their writing is on display in the hallway!
Communication
The office is busy compiling contact information from the registration packets! Once I have a class email list, I will email newsletters and post news on the class website each Monday.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Parents and students can e-mail me at [email protected]. You can also leave a voice message on the class phone, come into the classroom before or after school, or call me before 8PM at home.
