Upcoming Out and Abouts
We will go to the Oregon Zoo with the Puffins on Tuesday! The bus will leave promptly at 9:15. Please make sure your student is on time! Students and chaperones need to bring a water bottle, lunch, small backpack and sun protection. Next week, we will have an end-of-the-year class celebration.
Math Notes
This week in Third Grade math, we will finish up assessments and the end-of-the-year math work sample. We will also continue our study of multiplication so that students can gain fluency with their facts to 12. Over the summer, students should continue to practice their multiplication facts (with flashcards, online games or apps, or worksheets from http://www.dadsworksheets.com/) so they are ready for 4th grade math!
There is no homework this week.
This week in Fourth Grade math, students will continue to work on a variety of assignments. Students, who have not yet presented, will share their name geometry project. We will also continue designing a one-story dream home, while reviewing geometry vocabulary and concepts. Students will also work in the computer lab to review and reflect on their math goals. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Becky at [email protected].
With the end of the year approaching, there will be no more math homework.
