Friendship Celebration (Valentines Day)
The Plovers will show appreciation for our classroom community and friendships with a Friendship Celebration at the end of the day on February 14th. If your Plover would like to bring in cards for their classmates, they MUST bring one for every student. Students can make cards or buy them. Weekly Review
The Plovers have been working hard to get their projects ready for Celebrations of Learning this Thursday (5:00 - 6:30). Six groups are working on stop motion animations of their fairy tale adaptations. Last week, they worked in pairs to make backgrounds, build characters out of Model Magic clay and film their movies. This week, they will record their narration! Six other groups are working on engineering projects to make a device that will help one of their characters from their writing. Last week, these partners made plans, gathered supplies and built their inventions! This week, they will test their devices and make an informational poster. We hope you can stop by during Celebrations of Learning to see these fun and creative fairy tale projects!
