Upcoming Out and Abouts
This week, the Plovers decided to have an final "In & About" instead of an Out & About to make ice cream and sock monsters! I could use parent helpers for ice cream making and sewing support. If you are able, please send a sock (or 2) with your Plover before Wednesday, June 10th. Striped or bright colored crew socks or knee socks work great and it's OK if they've already been worn! Fred Meyer also has a good selection of fun, inexpensive socks, but avoid anything too fuzzy (harder to sew). Also, I could use a few more bags of stuffing (like Poly-fil). Fred Meyer usually carries this in their craft section, as well as stores like Michael's and Jo-Ann.
Weekly Review
Thank you so much to all the families who were able to attend Celebrations of Learning and see the Plovers' migration work. The students and I also appreciate all the help and donations we had along the way to make these projects a huge success! I also want to thank all the parents who assisted students with publishing their informational books or helped with other projects and O&As this year. I am so grateful for your generosity and support! Have a wonderful summer :)
